Terms of Participation
The organiser of the contest is (PartyLite UK Ltd, Building 3, Croxley Green Business Park, Watford, Herts WD18 8YG). Participation in this sweepstake is subject exclusively to the Terms and Conditions set out herein. Entry into this contest [the Lucky Numbers Sweepstakes] is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Participation
Entry into and participation in this contest requires the provision of a name, an email address and postal address (for shipping winning certificates) and consent for their use, which may be withdrawn at any time, to subscribe to the PartyLite Newsletter (Candle Connection) as well as acceptance of the contest entry Terms and Conditions (mandatory fields are marked with a star). The email address you provide and give permission to us to collect will be retained in accordance with PartyLite’s Privacy policy which you can find at www.partylite.co.uk. Sweepstakes can be entered by going to the website www.partylite.co.uk and entering the unique entry code and your email address . Entry codes can be found on product boxes sold by PartyLite or generated on the website automatically.
No purchase is required to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.
Eligibility
All persons resident in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry shall be eligible to enter/participate in this contest.
Multiple entries are permitted, however each entry requires a new code number.
Therefore multiple participation is only possible with different codes from different product Boxes. Only one entry is possible through the online code generator.
Exclusion of participants
Contest organiser reserves the right to exclude entrants who fail to meet eligibility requirements.
Sweepstakes
The Sweepstake starts on the 23rd of October 2013 at 12.01 am. The Sweepstake concludes on 20th December 2013 at 11.59pm. The deadline for registration and entry of winning codes is 20th December 2013.
The exclusive PartyLite 40th Anniversary Advent Calendar is sold on a whilst stocks last basis.
The Online Code generator is open for everyone.
Liability Disclaimer
PartyLite and its representatives shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damages that may result as a consequence of participation in the contest or in terms of a failure of access to the contest offer, excepting in the event of damage or loss due to gross negligence or intentional acts of carelessness on the part of PartyLite.
Also excluded from competition are persons who make use of prohibited resources or derive advantages by other means of tampering to their own advantage. If necessary, in such cases winnings may also be retroactively revoked or reclaimed
Prize and Drawing
The winner will be determined by a drawing among all entries based on a random number generator, The winner will receive an automatic pop-up notice on the website which is www.partylite.co.uk. The prize is a PartyLIte Snow Junior, which will be sent to winners via post. There will be no alternative prizes and the total number of prizes will be awarded. The entrant shall be solely responsible, in particular, for the validity of his/her email and/or postal address. All taxes shall be the responsibility of the winners. The total number of prizes to be awarded in the sweepstake will be 1 in every 40 entrants. Odds of any individual entry is dependent upon the number of entries received.
Miscellaneous
Should any provisions or conditions of participation be or become void or ineffective, the legal effect [validity] of the remaining provisions will remain unaffected. PartyLite reserves the right to cancel or terminate the contest/sweepstakes at any time without advance notice. PartyLite will make use of this option particularly in the event that for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, fraudulent manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons a proper execution of the game can not be guaranteed. In the event that such termination is caused by the conduct of a participant, PartyLite shall be entitled to demand indemnification for damages incurred from said person.
Complaints relating to the execution of the contest/sweepstakes should be addressed to PartyLite in writing indicating the contest within 14 days following the entrant’s becoming aware of the grounds for complaint. Complaints communicated by telephone or late [following expiration of said time period] will not be processed.
PartyLite shall be solely liable for damages that were caused intentionally or in a manner of gross negligence by PartyLite or one of its agents. Aforementioned limitation of liability shall apply in particular to errors, delays or interruptions in the transmission of data or the like, in the event of malfunctions in the technical infrastructure or service, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, and viruses.
Exclusion of Legal Recourse
No right of legal recourse shall be granted.

The data collected as part of the contest is electronically processed and stored for the purposes of conducting the contest.
The data collected as part of the registration/entry are electronically processed and stored for the purposes of handling our newsletter. We may use your email address for the dissemination of PartyLite email newsletters containing information about products, promotions, news. If, with your contest entry you consented to the creation of a user profile, in order to optimise our offer, we evaluate in a recipient-relevant manner, which content of the newsletter is of particular interest to our subscribers. In so doing, in the context of individual profiling, we collect and evaluate data relating to the opening of specific content or the click-through behavior in the newsletter.
You may at any time revoke your consent to storage and use of the data for advertising purposes. You can find the link to the unsubscribe page at the end of every newsletter. Entry into the contest shall remain unaffected by this.
