We may also use information collected when you make a purchase online through a Consultant Website or at a PartyLite show in order to process your order or purchase, provide warranty service or advise you of promotions and PartyLite product news. We may also send you emails with offers from marketing partners who have products or service we believe might be of interest to you.
We do use third party companies to gather information and provide services to us, for example in maintaining and organising customer information and conducting promotions, upgrading our internet services, sending communications and contacting our customers. Where online ordering is available directly to PartyLite Consumers, the Order Information provided by PartyLite Consumers will be transferred to PartyLite and maintained in the United States.
Certain information concerning PartyLite's Consultants and Leaders, which may include but is not limited to name, personal contact information, national identification number, and certain banking or credit card information necessary to maintain our business relationship (collectively, "Business Information"), provided in connection with enrollment in PartyLite's independent contractor salesforce in EU Countries and Switzerland will be transferred to PartyLite and maintained in the United States.
PartyLite maintains and uses Order Information for business purposes consistent with the privacy notices of its affiliates in the EU and Switzerland. Access to Order Information is limited to certain PartyLite employees, Consultants and Leaders who may use the Order Information for sales and customer services purposes only. Order information will be stored in PartyLite computer database systems as long as needed to meet the business purposes for which it was collected and as required to maintain PartyLite's ongoing commercial relationships with its customers. Order Information is not shared with unaffiliated third parties not under contract with PartyLite, and only transmitted to third parties under contract with PartyLite to support PartyLite's business, sales and customer services purposes.
PartyLite maintains and uses the Business Information of its sales force for business purposes consistent with the privacy notices of its affiliates in the EU and Switzerland. Access to an individual's Business Information is limited to certain PartyLite employees and members of an individual's up-line who may access certain Business Information for PartyLite internal business and sales purposes only. Business information will be stored in PartyLite computer database systems as long as needed to meet the business purposes for which it was collected and as required to maintain PartyLite's ongoing working relationships with its sales force. Business Information is not shared with unaffiliated third parties not under contract with PartyLite, and only transmitted to third parties under contract with PartyLite to support PartyLite's business and sales purposes.
PartyLite will notify you and offer you the opportunity to "opt out" should PartyLite change its policies and intend to either disclose your Order or Business Information to an unaffiliated third party not under contract with PartyLite, or use your Order or Business Information for a purpose other than those set forth in this policy.
PartyLite takes reasonable steps to ensure that the Order and Business Information is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current to the extent necessary.
PartyLite Consumers and members of PartyLite's sales force can ask to review their Order and Business Information maintained by PartyLite by sending a request to your customer service team. Where it is inaccurate, PartyLite employees, Consumers, Consultants, and Leaders may correct, amend or delete Order and Business Information accordingly.
PartyLite uses reasonable physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to secure and protect Order and Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
Enforcement If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our customer service team. PartyLite will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding the use of Order and Business Information in accordance with the Safe Harbor Principles. For complaints and disputes that cannot be resolved between PartyLite and the complainant, PartyLite has agreed to participate in the dispute resolution procedures of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), a division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), to resolve panel to resolve complaints and disputes pursuant to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles.
